Everyone there has been just fantastic!! From the ladies at the front desk to the techs in the back and Dr. Rich & Dr. Pence. Everyone has been great. I want to say thank you for the very sweet card you sent. I was touched, not only hat you sent one but you took the time to write a little something in it about our bunny Coco Puff. Thank you for helping us take care of her over the past years!
I had rescued a hedgehog, knew absolutely nothing, and was referred here by a few vets on the West Bank. Dr. Pence is a Godsend. She’s helped us every step of the way, and it’s affordable. The whole staff has just been so absolutely amazing, understanding, and accommodating. I couldn’t ask for better vet care.
Love both Dr Pence and Dr Rich. The staff is so welcoming and both Doctors are gentle and understanding with my babies!
I have two baby Indian Star Tortoises that I bought from Tortoise Town. Unfortunately due to stress and habitat change one of them had a respiratory infection. I did my research online, asked Tortoise Town for some advice, and everybody recommended that I go see a vet to get him shots. Luckily, I found Dr. Leslie Pence D.V.M. She immediately knew what my baby tort needed and now after a few shots he is well. I found out about them due to Magic Happens. The people here are always so nice, helpful, and are so great with the animals. Today was another great visit.
This is by far the best place to take your beloved pet. Dr. Rich takes the time to give a thorough exam and explain in detail the treatment and condition of your pet. He has compassion and explains things so clearly. His staff is also friendly and supportive. I highly recommend the Avian and Exotic Animal Hospital of Louisiana.
