We are Coastal Georgia's first veterinary clinic devoted exclusively to the care of avian and exotic pets. Some examples of patients we see are: rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, pot bellied pigs, parrots, chickens, ducks, song birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, invertebrates, and pretty much anything else that is not a cat, or dog! Our head veterinarian, Dr. Stacey Wilkinson, has 10 years clinical experience treating just exotics and is the only vet in the state that is ABVP certified in reptile and amphibian medi... read more

What can I say? Definitely the most qualified exotic vet I have experienced in Georgia! They are top notch. You will not be disappointed. :)
We needed to find a vet to care for out new Angora bunny. Finding a vet that specializes in rabbits is extremely difficult. Luckily we found Avian and they helped and treated our bunny with the best care and compassion. Customer service is top notch and Dr. Wilkinson and staff are so kind and caring. You have a specialty pet...take them to Avian. They will do you right.
We brought our Guinea Pig Blackberry Jr. to have his teeth examined by Dr. Wilkinson. She helped him feel much better and will help us with the ongoing care for Blackberry Jr.'s dental disease, which will be a chronic issue. Dr. Wilkinson and Will are very caring and professional. The notes that Dr. Wilkinson prepared after our visit were very thorough and helpful and she has been prompt and knowledgeable through both facebook and email in answering my many questions!
Brought my sweet yellow belly slider Khaleesi this morning for a check up. Dr. Wilkinson and staff were very friendly from the time we walked in till the time we left! So glad we found them and will be bringing Khaleesi back if need be. Definitely recommend them for any exotic pets in the state of Georgia!
Dr and staff are wonderful caring people. They took very good care of Miss Lucy "chickens bumblefoot". She let me bring the other 2 girls cause they picked on Lucy when she came home. She always called and checked on her .answered on Facebook many questions. My other kids " rabbits" will be seeing her very soon! Very caring quality care!
I just been there 2 times in approximately the last 3weeks. Just so happens that the second time I go is right before Hurricane Mathew is supposed to hit. The vet said she wanted me to leave my parakeet Sunny with her. I asked her if there was going to be someone at the office and she said no that she is taking all her animals home with her. The home her and her husband share has a Hurricane shelter in it. This is one vet that I belive truly cares about the safety an welfare of all the animals in her care.
