We are Coastal Georgia's first veterinary clinic devoted exclusively to the care of avian and exotic pets. Some examples of patients we see are: rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, pot bellied pigs, parrots, chickens, ducks, song birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, invertebrates, and pretty much anything else that is not a cat, or dog! Simply the best care in TOWN! So great with all our birds, we have 92 now, would suggest Dr Wilkinson and Will to ANY exotic animal owner for all levels of care and information. Always GREAT with the animals!! It is sure nice when you find people like the Wilkinson's who truly love what they do.
LOVE this place!! They took such great care of my sweet guinea pig, Chuck. The staff is so extremely friendly & very knowledgeable. The vet, Dr. Wilkinson, was so precessional & compassionate. I couldn't have asked for a better staff to take care of my little piggy.
As a guinea pig and rat mom, it’s hard to find exotic vets who treat my babies and also give good quality care. I’ve been treated with the upmost respect and kindness by all the employees in my many visits. I had a close to death guinea pig who is now well and recovering, and is alive because of the care we received at this clinic. They put so much love into their patients, and I’ve always felt like my concerns were heard, and that even the smallest patients were a big priority. Definitely won’t take my babies anywhere else.
I cannot say enough good things about about Dr. Wilkinson, Will and the staff at Avian and Exotic! They are very professional, kind and caring. I have a mini pig that sometimes is a little force to be reckoned with, yet they always have a smile on their faces and treat him with love and compassion. If you call with a question, Dr. Wilkinson picks up the phone and helps you. No leaving messages and waiting all day to hopefully get a call back. I could not be more pleased with the level of care my rabbit received today! Dr. Wilkinson spent so much time with us in the examination room. She made sure we went over everything and that all questions were answered. I could really tell she cared about her patients well being and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Also the vet techs were great, as was Will at the front desk. I also found their prices to be reasonable and fair. What an all around positive experience.
