I’ve been in my complex since 2018 and Avenue 5 took over in 2019 and the complex has gone downhill since and they charge us for every little thing. This company doesn’t even deserve one star! This place is horrible! Leasing office staff is always a new person everyday and the mainstays are very rude and don’t help with anything just give you an attitude all the time! They charge us to change a lightbulb and go through the dumpster and trash to see who it belongs to and then charge a fee for the trash! Worst property managem... read more
This company must be comprised of Human Trash. On the website shows fully refundable deposit but the corporate emails asking you for move out fee??? I Never moved in? I called the Corporate and a human trash lady named "Denise" at Finance department just keep saying "Pay up or goto collections" DO NOT ENGAGE IN ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

Avenue5 is horrific and beyond corrupt. I moved out of The Commons apartments in July of 2020. Upon exiting, the move out statement included several erroneous charges, and I attempted to get the bill clarified with the office staff. Yet, I was unable to reach anyone in the office at the time as they shut completely down due to Covid. I repeatedly attempted to contact them, only for my emails and calls to go unanswered. This company is the worse appalling horrific treatment of tenants! Don’t even think you feel safe at their properties. They ignore all concerns, they work in crises management, major personnel turnover, filthy property, no replacement of appliances that are 30 yrs old, completely ignorant of tenant relationships, and elder abuse, do no rent at any A5 properties!
DO NOT RENT FROM any Avenue5 property! The corporate culture at A5 is a disaster! They don’t care about tenant’s rights. I reported a ceiling leak in laundry room and two weeks I fell due to them ignoring repairs. We had gas leaks, major water line leaks, faulty fire alarms, no concern for timely requests, major staffing turn over, packages missing, dirty carpets and walls, and more. I live on a property in Largo, MD and this is has been by far the the worst experience ever - financially and mentally!!!!! Yesterday I did a review on the actual property Tapestry @ Largo Station BUT before I typed and submitted I tried to COMMUNICATE several times over the past year 1/2 verbally and through emails and basically was told , “if you don’t like where you live, move” yesterday 3/21/23 the Property Manager verbally assaults me cussing and trying to intimidate me with her state tactics, idk. I would write a review but every time I try it ends up disappearing when I go to post it. So I am just going to say this DO NOT RENT FROM AVE5 RESIDENTIAL and especially at Keelers Korner in Lynnwood or The LAKEHOUSE apts. in Silver Lake. They have RATS, dog feces everywhere, trash all over that never gets picked up. I had to disclose almost everything about myself but they don't have to disclose anything. It's a RIP OFF!
BEWARE!!! This is a negative 10 star review. This company quite literally robbed me after a lease termination due to being ROBBED AND STALKED BY A SEX OFFENDER on the property. I had to vacate immediately and initially the company was quite accommodating, offering for me to break the lease without the lease termination fee I moved out and paid final rent due.
