Fantastic place to get your haircut. Have received nothing but amazing service ranging from Madison at the front desk to Lydia who is my stylist. Would highly recommend for men's haircuts that are competitively priced and stylish.
Cannot say enough good things about the Avenue 42 team! Natalie and Heather did my hair and makeup (as well as my mom’s and bridesmaids’) for my wedding and they are simply the best. Not only do they do a fantastic job, but they are so much fun to be around! Heather has done my hair ever since - I drive from D.C. to see her because I just can’t imagine going elsewhere. Avenue 42 is a 5 star experience without the snobbery - just great service and kind, fun, and professional stylists in a beautiful atmosphere. Love them!

I lived in Richmond for 4 years and only ever trusted Heather at Ave 42 to cut and color my hair. I love the atmosphere of the salon and the top quality hair care they provide! When I got married- Natalie did my wedding makeup as well as providing makeup services for my bridal party. Everyone raved about their look! Heather did all of the girls’ hair.
