For great color and cut! Ask for Shana Dee. Not only is she genius with helping you figure out your most flattering hairstyle, but she is also a wiz with color. By far she's been my favorite hair stylist I've ever gone to. I also appreciate that she listens and takes what you want in to consideration and makes it better than what you could have imagined for yourself.

Secrets revealed Sometimes secrets are just too good to keep to yourself. Karina Gutierrez, Esthetician at Aveda Georgetown is AMAZING! She's fast, thorough, funny, and and has a special technique for leg waxing - the last time I saw her was in February and only now, four months later, I find that it's time to schedule another appointment. Amazing Skin Care - Ask For Karina! This past weekend, I treated myself to some much needed "me time" in DC with my plan being to visit a spa for a facial and waxing services. I must say...after reviewing the online reviews, I hestitantly (because you never know how truthful these online reviews are) called and reserved time at Aveda Georgetown. Great products I love Aveda products, and this is a nice, well-stocked store to pick them up. The staff is a wee bit indifferent toward customers though. I can't speak to their hair styling services, though. Those people might be friendlier.

Brow wax & hair services There are 2 people at this salon that I can't do without - Karina and Andrew. After each brow wax with Karina I look as if I've had a facelift. She is also super quick. Andrew did the best bob cut on me and I'm hooked. I wish parking was easier to find but even so it's worth the trip.

Nice I would come here again for the waxing and skincare..however, for nails, I would go to an actual nail salon. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely come here again.

first wax! :) So I was terrified about my first wax and let me tell you girls....KARINA IS AMAZING!! I was so nervous I brought two friends with me for support and Ive never felt so comfortable and relaxed! I TOTALLY RECOMMEND KARINA!!! :) im telling you ...you won't regret it !

Terrible - Waste of money! This place is not worth my time. The staff is Very unprofessional, from the moment I arrived. The hair service was even worse. I have been to many high end places and know a thing or two about hair care and customer service and this place is far from a class A salon. The massage I had was good and Annette I think was her name tried to make up for all the lack in the place, but really she should work somewhere else because I would never go back.

Karina G.=Waxing Saint!!! I came to Katrina following a friend's recommendation...and it was one of the best decisions I have made!!!! I came to Katrina for her painless Brazilian wax, and while I believe that the words waxing and painless should never go in the same sentence together, Katrina provides the closest thing to it!!! She is fast and talks you through the whole thing!!!!
