Best Salon Overall – Have you ever left a salon feeling self consious about your hair? Telling yourself "it will grow back" or "the color will fade over time"? I have. Best Hair Salon In California! – Nirvana is a wonderful experience. I went in for my first appointment not too long ago and met with a Hair Stylist named Christine. She was so sweet and had such a wonderful personality. She immediatley offered me something to drink. Once I sat down, we went over everything I wanted from cut to color. It was wonderful. Cutest Boutique Salon and Great Stylist... – I've tried way too many salons in the area before getting discouraged and having to look online for something new. Nirvana has a great website (which i found on citisearch) with the stylist's bios and portfolios. I loved looking through to find the right match for me and my hair. Not What I Expected – From reading soo many good reviews about Nirvana, I didn't get the cut and style that I expected and anticipated. The service was great; all stylists that I came across were very friendly and outgoing. However, the main reason I went to Nirvana was for a haircut and my hair cut turned out to be below my expectations. Best hairstyle and color ever! – Janis suggested a new look for me including a new color and I admit that this is the first time in over 10 years that I absolutely LOVE my hair!! The compliments are endless too! I feel like "me" with my new look! YAHOO!!

Great Hair Style – Jessica gives the best cut I have ever had! She really listens to what you want. I have a really hard time trying to communicate how I want my hair to look, but Jessica is able to deciper all the information I give her and give me the hair style of my dreams.
Best hair salon ever!!! – I had my hair done at Nirvana for my wedding and was amazed at the excellent service I received! I have to rave about my stylist, Lauré for hair and Shawna (who did my makeup) they were awesome! Thank you so much for making my day beautiful. You guys were excellent!! I highly recommend them for bridal work.
Average Salon – I previously went to the Atelier Aveda salon in Santana Row before trying out Nirvana. I have long, straight black hair, and requested someone who was good with Asian hair when making my appointment. The stylist they recommended for me did an excellent job with my hair color, making it look natural with subtle highlights. I am very happy with my hair color. For this, I am extremely thankful. The place to go for beautiful hair – Nirvana is the best salon in the Bay Area. Laure is a genius when it comes to hair. It is the first time in my life that I let my hair air dry and it still looks beautiful. Go see her or her staff- they are all extremely talented at their craft.
