Avalon apartments have been highly recommended, however left us ever so disappointed with their lack of urgency in responding to neighbor’s sewage coming up from bathtub and toilet for 2.5 days, a stove top that short circuits if you use one too many burners and living on the first floor you are subject to ice cold floors during the winter months from the cold radiating from garage underneath and drafts coming from the single pane windows. It sounds like your experience has not lived up to our standards, and I will work with the onsite team to see what can be done to resolve each of the issues you've mentioned.
Great place to live. Everyone is friendly and respectful as neighbors , grounds are very clean. I have to say the maintenance team goes above and beyond here. They work all hours of the day and night, and Ruel is one of the hardest working and most reliable people I've ever met. He fixed a very complex issue with my heater in one of the newer units just as it was starting to get cold here again. Ruel from service crew have always been helpful when something goes wrong in our unit. He fixed our leaking washing machine, changes bulbs and drainage issues.

Ruel of the maintenance crew is amazing, very respectful and skilled.
The community is good and overall we cannot say anything specifically that is a major deterrent. there are, of course, normal negatives with living in a large community that is also BART adjacent. But all in all this a great place to live!
Avalon Walnut Ridge I is well maintained with so many trees surrounding the community. I love the sound of the birds and I enjoy watching the squirrels. It is so quiet except for the sound of the train which does not really bother me. Response to maintenance request is immediate. Ruel is very professional and gets the job done without delay. This is my first apartment living and I am loving it!
Avalon Walnut Ridge is a Community of young and old, busy or not so busy doing things in life but have time to walk around and see the beauty that Avalon Walnut Ridge can offer to their residents/tenants.
