Best Highlight. Haircut and Blowout in NYC – I have been going to Deborah Novik for over a year now and could not be happier!!! She is fantastic. Everytime I leave her care, people stop me and ask where I get hair done, and who does it!! Whether it be for a highlight, color or haircut, I would not go to anyone else in the city. The service is great, the salon is 5 stars and well priced! I would not go anywhere else!
Attentive, excellent service and the only person I trust with my hair – I have been a loyal client of Avalon for over 5 years and have experienced practically the full range of services offered, all of which I have been happy with. HORRIBLE staff – I called today to make an appointment for a basic cut & style with Nick, who has previously cut my hair and done a GREAT job. However today I have changed my mind contributing to a buisiness who can't even seem to welcome returning clients. There is no one better with color than Nick!!!! – I've been dyeing my hair blonde for more than 10 years now, and have been through a few colorists in that time. Best color & cut – I have had nothing but postive experiences at Avalon salon. Nick does my color and while I knew he was great at blondes, caramels, and highlights- I recently took the plunge to a darker reddy brown. He knew exactly what color complimented my skin, and I was suprised at how great the condition of my hair was after the fact. Wonderful service, conversation and highlights!!! – I had a lovely experience at the Avalon Salon last week. My stylist Nick gave me a wonderful new sassy color - blondes do have more fun - and I can't wait to go back again and maybe go "chocolate brown" ....who knows? Thanks Nick.
Won't go anywhere else for my haircut – I've been to a lot of places over the years here in the city for a haircut and I can say hands down that Nick at Avalon gives the best haircut in the city. He is super meticulous--he spends a lot of time making sure everything looks just right. I won't go to anyone else. And the prices are very, very reasonable.
Really friendly staff, Great service. – Nick at Avalon has been cutting my hair for almost 8 years now and he is the only person in the entire city I will let cut my hair. It has a really think texture and he does a great job of blending it and I ALWAYS look great afterward. I have referred t least 5 friends to him and they all still go to him years later. Absolute WORST hair experience of my life – I went to Nick to get my hair colored from a highlighted blonde to a warm brown for Fall. I have been going to Nick for cuts for about a year and a half. So I tell Nick what I want, and I bring pictures to help. He didn't seem to even remember having discussed my hair color change at my last cut a few weeks ago, which was a little off putting, as we had a consultation about it. 45 minutes later, and my hair is wet on my shoulders.
