Excellent, consistently – I have been going to Avalon for nearly a decade. I have had several great stylists, but have used Nick exclusively for about five years. It is rare occasion for me to walk out of the salon and not get immediate compliments on my cut and color. I have very thick, wavy hair but I prefer to wear it straight and Nick has a true gift for bringing out my best. He is easy going, attentive and just does excellent work. Goldylocks – I am pretty finicky about my hair, and had many a bad interlude with so called hair stylists and colorists in this city. It got so bad that I actually resorted to getting my hair done out in Jersey where my mother resides. Ask for Tom! – I've been going to Tom for over 2 years and I'll never go anywhere else. He's the type of stylist who does exactly what you want and does it to perfection. He's good at both coloring and styling and really pays attention to details. For example, when doing highlights, he makes sure to process each section of hair the same amount of time so that the color is even. Highly Recommend – Tom at Avalon is great. I've been going to him for 3 years for my hair and he has never been anything but great! He knows exactly what I want, even when I'm not so sure about it myself and executes peffectly - I've never left disappointed. Everyone there is very friendly and the environment is great.
Deborah is the best! – I have been getting my hair cut by Deborah for two years and absolutely love her work. This Angel is from Heaven – WOW!!!! I've been going to a very expensive salon for a long time to get my color/cut combo. About 5 weeks ago at the recommendation of a friend I saw Angel for a cut. He is out of this world. I had the best time laughing at him (if hair wasn't his gift, comedy would be), but the end result was THE best haircut I have ever had. Great short curly haircut – I was just looking up the address for my haircut tomorrow and saw all the love for Deborah so I'll add my $0.02. "I used to go to Devachan (for curly hair) but they absolutely would NOT cut my hair short. Deborah is the BOMB!!!! – I have been going to Avalon for 10+ years, but never got my hair done there. I have locks in my hair, so I was a little hesitant.
