Once I get established somewhere, I don’t like to hop around. I get bad anxiety and I always get nervous walking into new places. You never know how people will treat you or if they will even listen. But, since a new Doctor bought out my Doctors office, I couldn’t stay there any longer. Nothing was getting done there (prior authorizations/ communication/setting up appointments, etc). If I could give more than 5 ⭐️ I would. I was searching for help with ostomy care/guidance for my elderly mother who recently had surgery and unexpectedly ended up with a colostomy. Karen Genter who heads their ostomy services has been a god send helping guide us with the right supplies and care instructions for my mom. Everyone I have interacted with at Avalon has been kind, helpful, and caring and for that, I am grateful.
Bre’Ana Strong and her team are amazing! They truly care about their patients and make them feel comfortable, cared for, and respected. I was without a PCP for a while and I’m so glad I found this team! I highly recommend them!
The person answering the phones was super rude when I called back after receiving a voicemail from them and placed me on hold when I asked to speak with someone else. Very unprofessional and I haven't even been to the office yet. Update apparently she just started and whoever took over for her, I think she said her name was Lauren or something she immediately hung up after I said I wanted to cancel my appointment
The doctor working with my Dad communicates with us in a caring, honest manner. The staff has been extremely helpful with getting information as well as working with insurance. Very grateful for open and honest communication.
