Came here for our honeymoon and got an "upgraded" room. Wallpaper was coming off the walls, stained bathtub, rusted curtains (that don't block morning light, and an air conditioner mounted in the wall that is from the 80's. Not what was expected from a "4 star" hotel. Staff is excellent, and so is the service. Staff and service is 4+ stars. Just the hotel is NOT a 4 star, or even 3.5 star hotel at all. Could have stayed somewhere LOTS nicer for cheaper.
Avalon Hotel is located in the heart of Beverly Hills! The Ambience is great at nite, the locals of Beverly Hills like to visit frequently so it a good place to see meet new people! The service was exceptional, Nicole Lundin, makes you feel right at home! I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get the best of Beverly Hills!
