26 years ago my wife and I had our first date at Avalon Cafe. We also had our rehearsal dinner there and have celebrated many Valentines Days and anniversaries at my friend David Scott’s restaurant and every time is incredible. You simply can’t find a better experience or meal in or around KC.

I wasn’t able to dine in last night, but I did take out. Amazing food at The Avalon or from The Avalon at home. Thank you Chef Dave and all of the peeps who make this deliciousness happen on the daily.
Myself, my sister and my sisters sister in law went to Avalon cafe for lunch today for the first time ever. We have 4 kids between the three of us. Obviously we weren’t aware that this place may not be the best “children” setting. Regardless of that, the restaurant was not busy so we were sat at a larger table by the entrance.
