The concept is there but the food is just ok. I ordered lamb chops, medium. They came very rare so I sent them back, which I don’t normally do. They just threw them back on the stove, which charred the outsides, leaving it tasting burnt and still not medium. Both my husbands steak and my lamb chops lacked seasoning as well. The waitress was kind enough to not charge us for my meal but we won’t be back.
My wife and I had a fantastic meal last night. The elk was cooked to perfection as was her steak. The staff was very friendly and the fellow patrons were great to talk to. We will definitely return.
Seriously the best food in Missouri. Love this place and really love the cold cucumber soup!
A beautiful old home that has been restored and turned into a restaurant. The ambiance is fantastic, the food is excellent, portions are small, prices are high. A great place to go for that special occasion. Staff is friendly and helpful.
