History Established in 1996. AutoNation's roots trace back to 1996, when current Chairman H. Wayne Huizenga invested in an Atlanta-based waste management company that later became Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Republic Industries, Inc. Republic Industries would go on to acquire most of the more than 321 new vehicle franchises the Company operates today, as well as several waste management and vehicle rental companies, before changing its name on April 6, 1999 to AutoNation, Inc.

Courteous service extremely patient staff. Couldn’t make up my mind on two different models. Tried on out on the road. Our representative guided us to make the right choice by describing the different features each car had. After purchase, he spent 30 minutes explaining all the different settings and how to use my smartphone in the car
The service team at AutoNation Honda Hollywood is fantastic. My service advisor, Rocky Whitehall, has watched over all of my Honda vehicles for many years and treats my vehicle with the respect that I do. When i arrive at my scheduled appointment, it is like being with family. Thank you all for taking such good care of my vehicles.
