History Established in 1996. AutoNation's roots trace back to 1996, when current Chairman H. Wayne Huizenga invested in an Atlanta-based waste management company that later became Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Republic Industries, Inc. Republic Industries would go on to acquire most of the more than 321 new vehicle franchises the Company operates today, as well as several waste management and vehicle rental companies, before changing its name on April 6, 1999 to AutoNation, Inc.

Patrick was my salesman, he was great, very knowledgeable a true gentleman, all people who were in contact with me were very respectful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with, from Patrick, Issac and the receptionist(sorry I forgot her name)
Tameka was excellent with me. Went in for a scheduled maintenance and she took care of my car very well. I am overly pleased with her and AutoNation Honda Of Hollywood’s outstanding service. Me and my car are happy.
Jimmy Bellot did a great job finding me a deal that was in my budget. He didn’t stop till I had the full services allotted and the type of car I wanted. It was a great experience and I would recommend him to anyone.
