This is not just another shop, it is a family you didn't know you had. The customer service is among the best I've ever experienced. The staff is very knowledgeable in sewing, quilting, machines, and crafting. They make you feel empowered after classes and lectures. Once you visit this store, you'll be back!

I've taken 2 Brother sergers for servicing 2 years ago and they've alway been friendly and quick to answer questions...it was a very small mom & pop vibe, a little crouded by tables but alway friendly... But at the new location, WOW! It's hip, urban, contemporary, bright and spacious... Has a large fabric area, more fabric options at Authorized Vac and Sew than Hobby Lobby! They making sewing cool! Shortly after relocating to the Fresno area, and in need of embroidery machine thread, I found AVS. What a blessing from above. Erin, was so kind, welcoming me to not just the shop, but the area, telling me where to find essentials like groceries, and even invited me to visit her church.
