Sometimes you run across things on the internet that are so ludicrous you just have to shake your head. ANYONE who has done business with Aurora Kennel KNOWS Miss Julie will shoot straight with pet owners. This lady knows more and care more about pets than anyone I have ever met. She has cared for my dogs for nearly 30 years and they have always loved to go see her. In The Best Interest of My Pet – Recently someone posted on this site that Aurora Kennel was not receptive to their requests for boarding their pets. The explanation to this remark, this is very true and she is absolutely right. We were not, and for the mere fact that it was not in the best interest or welfare for her 17 year old cat, in my opinoin, to be boarded with us and the cat not knowing us at all. I called and was treated VERY rudely, the girl had no interest in talking to me and i felt like I was wasting her time. They do not have doggie doors and are put outside and left there unless weather is bad. Not the way I want my babies treated. Based on the phone call I would NOT leave my babies there for any reason.

Couldn't Be Happier with Aurora – My dogs are part of the family and I'm very picky about who cares for my family. I've been taking my pets to Aurora for 15 years because I know that the quality, cleanliness, professionalism and compassion for my pets cannot be matched anywhere else. My pets' wellbeing and health are always the main priority of the Aurora staff. I've never found a groomer whose care and skill match Julie's. If you treat your pets better than some friends.... – I worked here for almost two years and the boarded dogs had better diets/meals thatn I did most days. The dogs love that they can go outside After working at other kennels that do not allow their dogs outside for dailly sunshine I now understand how important it is to the dogs' mental health. The Absolute BEST place for boarding and grooming! – We've used Aurora Kennel for grooming and boarding of our dog for 10+ years, and it's without a doubt the cleanest, best animal care facility I've ever found. We looked into boarding her with our old vet; their boarding facility was heartbreaking - hot and filthy! A friend told us about Aurora Kennel and we've referred several other friends over the years. If your dog is family then this is the place for you – From the minute you walk in the door you are treated like family. Everyone at Aurora is kind and considerate. Best Animal Care – If you want people who are only going to tell you what you want to hear & offer you the latest gimmicks, then Aurora Kennel is not the place for you! Julie gives her utmost attention to the care of every animal. She cares for the physical as well as the emotional well-being of your pet. Shame on that lady for wanting to board a 17 year old cat!
