In a venue where trust is vital, poor customer relations/service is a travesty.
I have refrained from sharing this for quite some time because the issue is delicate and deserves special care. If you've never loved someone through a period in hospice care, you have no idea what that experience is like. I'm still struggling daily with what it means, how to cope, and what to expect. I hate that place I was in a lot of pain and they would not give me anything for the pain I HATE AUGUSTA HEALTH WITH A PASSION I WILL GO TO UVA FROM NOW ON
Terrible experience in pediatrics unit. We waited 5 hours to get IV antibiotics for our possibly septic newborn. We did not see the doctor the following day until 3. While AH advertises having "care within minutes, not miles", I wish we had driven the extra miles to get much better care. Compared to our experience at Martha Jefferson a week earlier with childbirth, August Health is a third rate facility.

I had my son in feburary. I had an amazing experience and felt very welcomed. I loved my nurse i had every day she was amazing.
The fact that your doctors try and shrug off a systolic blood pressure level high into the 200's as "heartburn" is absolutely absurd. Look at your reviews something needs to be done. I'll make the drive to an actual hospital like UVA then deal with your "professionals".
The ER feels that denial pain is not as important as other pain. He can't afford a Dentist and has an apt. Monday with the free clinic but, they won't give him anything for pain. Tylenol is it , because why? Is it not like real pain. A tooth ache is pain you can see. Back ache you have to hope they are truthful. Yet, not as important. Please explain to me why?
