I am used to stopping into different breweries' taprooms to try their beers. You can't do that at Schells unless you go on a tour. We didn't have time to wait to go on an hour tour. We were directed to their Biergarden - which only had a choice of 5 beers. Better than nothing.
So much fun! We went as a group and out tour guide (Matt I think) was great. Answered all our questions without hesitation. Don't hesitate to do the tour.
Learned a lot about the histoy of August Schell Brewing Company and sampled quite a few of the beers they make. Very enjoyable.
Had a great time....awesome gardens, too.�cheers.

I have not been on a brewery tour since I was a child. So much fun.
Great rainy afternoon stop! The beer was amazing the rain soaked gardens were beautiful and the peacocks were adorable! Everyone working there is very nice and our tour guide Tommy was lots of fun!
