Your was kinda short but to be honest it was super cold outside anyway. Tried a few new beers and enjoyed them very much. Great local history.
Without a doubt my favorite beer in my home state of Minnesota. The town of New Ulm is beautiful and the brewery is amazing, with tons of history. If you plan to Explore Minnesota and you love beer, you have to go to Schell's.
Well we drove all the way from OWATONNA to visit today only to find out it was closed at 3pm on a Saturday. Very disappointed with the lack of notice to be closed when they are supposed to be open.

We visit the Schells gift shop every year. They have beautiful and unique items and we enjoy our trip there. We find something we love every year. Have done the tour numerous times over the past 20 years. I’ve toured Budweiser and Coors, and Schells is always my favorite. Great value which is important to us Germans. :). Proud that this staple to New Ulm has survived the craft-beer mania. Highly recommend this tour to anyone swinging through town.
I have never seen so much OVER PRICED SHIT as I did in your gift shop! How greedy can you be? August Schell would be pissed. He wasn't greedy...he fed the Indians. Ted Marti family is GREEDY. Grainbelt blu tastes so artificial, its almost like you dumped twin berry syrup from Perkins into a keg of beer. The rest of your over priced beer tastes like it came straight out of the river. I have been to many breweries and yours is the worst tasting by far! To summarize...GREEDY OVER PRICED SHIT!
