Alex gave us the tour and we were hooked, we put deposit that night. Mind you we are downsizing from a home we have lived in for 12 years, now that we are empty nesters, and had been looking for awhile. He made the moving experience so much better, he was so nice and friendly, really made us feel like we were home. We are glad to be starting this next chapter of our lives with the Auburn Gate Community.

Not only is this a quiet place to live. The maintenance is wonderful. Today, Karl was out the replace my porch light and while he was here he also removed a large wasp nest taking up shelter in the old light. 😊
I think for the amount of money that they ask their tenants to pay is not worth the stay. The staff are not hospitable and are unprofessional. When I mentioned that there were glass bottles at the poolside in fear of someone breaking a bottle and possibly stepping on it, they were not urgent to take care of the matter. Also if you are trying to go to the pool be aware of DRUNK men sexually harassing you.
I am absolutely appalled by the customer service and Maintenance department of this complex. Our air has been broken in 90 degree heat now for over 3 days and we can’t get a response as to when it will be fixed. It’s 85 degrees in my apartment!!!
So far, we have really love it here at Auburn Hills. The apartments are really nice and spacious. We also really enjoy the 24-hour fitness center. It allows us flexibility for working out. Maintenance is super quick, or at least have been so far. The only complaint I have are the speed bumps throughout the complex. We live towards the very back of the complex and it makes it pretty annoying to drive all the way there.
If you want a pathetic dog park (fence is broken so Fido can easily escape), horrible snow removal, high rent, and half ass solutions to serious problems; then this is the place for you! One dumpster for the entire complex. No parking. I would just recommend going somewhere else. However, the dog community here is great and that’s the only reason I am giving it more than 1 star.
