The staff tries to play you for stupid and see how much money they can get outta you. Not only that, this place is filthy. We had fleas and bed bugs when we first moved in. Every time someone moves out, we see roaches. The staff is unprofessional and tried putting us out THREE WEEKS before our lease was up to cater to someone else. From a pedestrian point of view, access to downtown has been made much more difficult by the apartment's decision to deny access to the graveyard, and by proxy, the city street it neighbors that has sidewalks. Many residents, old and young, used this as a safe means to access Kernersville in a manor far safer than than walking / riding one's bicycle down Farmwood drive.

RecommendedHighly recommend Hawthorn Club Apartments. They are clean, quiet, and I feel safe here with my daughter - and that is priceless. Laura, Hawthorn's resident manager, is so kind and you can tell that she genuinely cares about making these apartments not just a complex, but a community.
This is one awful apartment complex. I would stay away! The reason why it is in the best location but lowest rates is because the neglect on this building and the awful management team.
