The permanent staff are great. However don’t get a per Diem or contract staff member. I was left hooked up to IV for over 3 hours . No one answered the call bell. Another issue is the food service. Eating same thing two days a week is becoming more common. This week the repeat offenders are Salisbury steak and spaghetti. Seems like they often run out of food and wait for deliveries. Once we were promised vegetable quiche for dinner. Got 2 hot dogs instead. Why ??? Meals are very starchy high in carb. Another issue is noise l... read more

I must admit very concerned after reading reviews and some previous experiences from a neighbor and friend. My hubby has only been there two days but so far very pleased with his care which is the most important thing to me. Met with Dr. O and some of his physical therapist and very optimistic about their goals and his to improve his strength and ability to be a bit more independent. Since he has been paralyzed for over 30 years he will require a lot of hands on care. I will be a frequent presence there but thus far feel opt... read more

My grandfather is in Atrium now 4/24/18, staff very friendly they treat him well, but when he rings his bell for assistance it takes anywhere from 1 to 2 hours for a response. Last but most definitely not least, he says the food is not edible. And It’s never hot. Needless to say he’s hungry, not sure how they expect him to do physical therapy to get his strength up while he’s hungry. Besides complaining about the food I’ll just have to bring him something to eat. SMH!!

My mother is here for a second round of therapy and rehabilitation, and she couldn’t wait to get back! The staff is warm, they greeted her with hugs, and they provide everything my mother needs. The admissions staff, social worker, nurses, aides and the custodial staff are genuinely caring and go above and beyond to support my mom. The facility is spic and span always, and the rehab gym is top notch.

Made a huge mistake by admitting Mother here. The facility is beautiful but not the care. In our experience, most of the staff is lazy & unresponsive to patient's needs. Only one care- giver impressed me, her name is Leola. Avoid Atrium in Woodbury!

My mother was there for two weeks.i demanded she get transferred after one week. Worst care ever. Waited for forty five minutes for the call Bell to be answered consistently and was treated poorly by some of the aides. I would never send a family member there ever again. It maybe a nice place if you do not required a lot of care but if you have to depend on staff there for bathing and bedpan this is not the place for you.
