Dr. Balmari didn’t send my refills in after my last checkup as she promised, and now I must have a televisit with another Dr. at my expense. It’s a med (valtrex) I take as needed, have taken for at least ten yrs. with no issues and currently have an acute need for. A simple refill is all i need. Very frustrating. Time to find a new Dr. and facility.
Love Dr Nix! He actually listened to my concerns and ordered the MRI that found my brain cancer 2 years ago. He helped save my life!!!
do not waste your time going here, all they want is to throw meds at people, and take your money. they could care less if they actually help anyone
This is the worst practice I have been too! My son has a diagnosis that requires a lot of drs and with all that experience Shiland Family Medicine is by far the WORST!! Phone wait time is 15 minutes or more if it’s even open and often I am hung up on. Front desk is not helpful and very rude. Wait times for appts (even when in time or early) can be up to over an hour. After a couple years with this practice I will no longer be seen by them and will be finding a different one. Horrible! This place was amazing, they are way too big for their own good. No bed side manner. God forbid if you actually need medication. The office manager does not take accountability for returning calls. Oh, one last important thing. If you file a complaint, be careful. They’ll terminate you as a patient over the phone.
it is now 9:22 i have been here since 8:30 for a 9:00 appt. i work front desk at a drs office. usually when this happens,the person that was there first gets seen first. but i guess that's not the case here
