Responsive and trustworthy My home heating and air conditioning system was on its last leg, so it is no wonder that it finally failed on a subzero night after five or so days of attempting to keep up. Furnace short cycling Called John on my furnace short cycling on the burner, he then told me it could be a flame sensor and I told him that I had already replaced to no avail. He then directed me to the pressure switch and after a little dealing with it everything worked just fine. Thank you John for your expertise in helping solve the problem.Bill
Heater problems I woke up at 5 am to no heat. The inside temp was 53 degrees, so I went online to find a professional that would respond quickly to my problem. Wonderful, Caring service - by Laura Z. - 2/5/2014 We woke up at 6 a.m. and wondered why the house was so cold. Looking at the thermostat it said the inside temp. was 59 degrees. We changed out the batteries in the thermostat 1st and when down to the furnace to see what was going on. After checking several things it still didn't come on so we started calling. Excellent Service - Highly Recommended Highly ethical with excellent customer service. This company spent time to help me over the phone so that I didn't have to pay for a tech to come out. Unfortunately I needed a tech to come out after all. The techs were courteous and did a great job explaining the issue with my furnaces. I highly recommend them.
Thanks for your kindness 11:30 at night, sub-zero temperatures outside, John helped me to find a loose wire by just talking me through a checklist. Tightened it up, fire in the hole, and my wife calmed down. He even called the next morning to make sure we were okay. No charge. He cared.
Excellent, Friendly Service While house sitting, the furnace just quit working - just in time for the weekend snow storm! I don't know a thing about them and was afraid of causing more damage than necessary. I called Atlas and spoke with John. I assumed the pilot light had just gone out because of the recent wind. John to the Rescue! Saturday, January 4th, 2014: We woke up at 6:00 AM to discover we had no heat. Somehow, the fuse tripped and the pilot light to the furnace went out. We found Atlas Heating and Air on the internet, read the glowing reviews, and decided to give Atlas a call. John immediately answered the phone, and Instead of scheduling an expensive weekend on-site visit, John talked us through relighting the pilot light over the phone.
