Prompt, professional and a good value – When it came time to replace our AC unit we got half a dozen quotes, put them all into a spreadsheet to compare cost, warranty, if the installer would stay in business long enough to service it, etc. and AB came out on top. They didn't try to oversell us something we didn't need, they were candid about what we did and didn't need. They were then prompt and professional when installing the unit. They installed the new, hauled away the old and left my wife's flower beds (where the unit w... read more

Atlas Butler was great – Atlas Butler recently came out to our house to look at our air conditioner. They were great. I was not home at the time of the repair but if my wife is happy after a stranger is in our house then im happy. She was very happy about them being on time, how professional and courteous the technician was and how clean and careful the tech was while he was in our home. And our A/C was up and running great by the time he left. Just wanted to say thanks to Atlas Butler for reliving some stress in my life.

Run, don't walk the other way – Everything about this company stinks EXCEPT ITS FINE EMPLOYEES. All of the service men I have dealt with are professional, competent and nice. They just happen to work for a company headed by scum bags who prey on unsuspecting customers. I too got a new thermostat for a whopping $300+ dollars and I then foolishly signed up for another screw job when I signed up for their annual service contract. Their fine print puts the S in scum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't ever call them.

Heads up – I read the reveiw of the person needing a inducer motor, average cost of indurer motor is around 100 dollars, and as high as 350 for a Trane motor, They have a 350% mark up on ther parts, but if you sign a sevice agreement with them they will save you 10%, what a joke, now you mark up is 340% My sujestion is to always get 3 estimates. I know the above info because i am an ex employee [thank God]. They are the highest cost in town, and you don't get what you pay for, residental service is paid on commision, the mor... read more

Read the fine print on their Service Club agreement – I wanted to have my furnace cleaned one season and the charge was either $240 up front, in full, or $19.95 per month auto deducted for the "Service Club Membership." I did the membership because, as the woman on the phone advised, less of a hit on the monthly budget. Turns out the fine print on the contract (sent AFTER I signed up on the phone) AUTOMATICALLY renews every year unless you cancel BEFORE the contract period ends. But there's no official end date on the contra... read more

Look Else where – I have a service tech out to my house because my furnace wasnt working .. They took the side pantel off and hooked up a tester.. The service man then said that my inductor motor was out and I might want to think about a new Furnace I paid him 89 dollars and if he was to replace the motor it would be over 800.. I then has a nother person out and turns out a bird was somehow in my furnace and I didnt need anything else.. Go figure ... saved 700 dollars
