Be forewarned - JBGSmith, the owner of Atlantic Plumbing, will nickel and dime you at every step - from move in, to renewal, to move out - fees on top of fees on top of fees. For example, after three years of tenancy, we notified the company 59.5 days (instead of the required 60), that we wouldn’t be renewing, and they charged us for one extra day of rent ($200). I was initially drawn to this building for its great reviews and perceived value, but unfortunately, those selling points have not held up over time. If you're comfortable frequently advocating for basic maintenance and communication, it might work for you. The leasing office is notoriously hard to reach unless you go in person—which is clearly discouraged. They're often closed during regular hours, and the concierge service is hit-or-miss at best. I recently moved into Atlantic Plumbing, and thanks to Yannick and Veronica in the leasing office, I am so happy with my choice. They made every step of the process not only easy, but also enjoyable. I can’t recommend this team and the building enough!
