Horrific experience! Unappreciative, unprofessional and just plain RUDE. I do NOT recommend donating to this so-called “charity”. Two different sets of drivers, the general manager and the owner, Robert, all deserve the worst possible rating. If zero stars was an option, that’s what these guys would receive. Come on, Step-Up Atlanta, STEP UP!!!!!

For the last two weeks they have scheduled three times to pick up items and no show all three times. First time was truck broke down, second time was truck got full and third time was ran out of time. You would think after standing someone up the first time or even the second time they would be considerate enough to put you first on the list. Don't waste your time and efforts trying to donate to them. Find another charity that will be happy to pick up your donations.

Came first time to pick up several dozen items. Great experience, except the truck filled up before they were finished. Returned five days later, different crew. Driver appeared tried and lazy and was rude. Refused to take a number of items for which I had sent pictures. “We don’t take bookcases, etc, etc. This has a scratch. Don’t want that.” After a week of messing around with this organization, I am left with over a dozen pieces of furniture to donate all of which I had sent pictures. Don’t waste your time with them. I have donated to Atlanta Step Up Society for at least 10 years and I find them to be very easy and pleasant to schedule a pick up time with and for the most part, they are very consistent with picking up when they say they will. Occasionally there has been an issue with a truck breaking down or they're short on drivers, but that's rare and they always call to let me know and to reschedule.

AWFUL. They told me they were coming three days in a row to pick up furniture items and bailed every time. I have to move out today and they said they would be here by 1 PM. Then 3:30 PM. Now they are screening my calls and ignoring me. Do not use them to pick up anything in a move. Their word means nothing and they need to go out of business.

This was a terrible experience for me! I told them what I had> furniture, refrig, household goods. We had a date set for May 3. One older man showed up with a young man. All he did was complain about lifting things. Wouldn't take hardly anything. I was left with a mess. Maybe their store is good. Never seen it. DON'T RELY ON THIS GROUP TO DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY WILL.

great values low price u can go there on any given day and find what you re looking for and more its really addictive and fun at the same time. U can furnish your whole house and have money left over atl. Step up is really a blessing i ve been shopping There a long time so anyone on a budget or just starting i highly recommend you to try it for yourself.
