RecommendedDr. Shuler is a great hand specialist. I’ve had 8 very successful hand surgeries. I had one very bad hand surgery from a previous dr leaving my index finger with no feeling. Problems with my hands are a result of working in a research lab for 36 1/2 years as a Microbiologist. The OT/PT dpt is also wonderful—Ginger and Pat are great. Nurses and office staff are all very professional. Wouldnot go anywhere else.
Athens orthopedic clinic is probably the worst business I've ever dealt with in my entire adult life. I can't get anyone on the phone I can't get anyone to return my call by phone. it's totally ridiculous I've never dealt with a worst business in my life.
Both my husband and I have total knee replacements. I also had extensive foot surgery. Every physician or PA has been knowledgeable and caring. If we have an orthopedic need, no other location enters into our thoughts. Why would we consider it! We have the best!!

I had cervical and lumbar surgeries by Dr. Talley that both failed. He said there was no more he could do for me. If you want to actually be fixed go to Dr. Chappuis at Spine Center Atlanta. I feel better than I have in years!!!!
The people are great. I am dealing with Dr. Mahoney and he is very helpful and explains everything before he recommends treatment. I would highly recommend him. Only problem with the clinic is their scheduling sucks! I have been there twice so far, each time with a scheduled appointment. Both times it was an hour or more past the scheduled time before anyone saw me. Unfortunately this seems to be the norm in doctor's offices of all types these days. Everyone is so helpful at AOC. Went for pre-op yesterday and they were very thorough in explaining what I need to expect before, during, and after surgery.
