RecommendedMy family had the pleasure of living in an Athena Real Estate Services property for the last 2 years in downtown Indy. Not only did we love our cute bungalow and our neighborhood, it was wonderful working with the team at Athena Real Estate Services, especially our leasing agent, Austin. If you are looking for affordable housing in the Indianapolis area, you want to be sure to check out their listings.
Athena Real Estate is the WORST leasing company in Indianapolis. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Maintenance issues are NEVER fixed in a timely manner. We did not have a working dryer for 2 weeks, our AC barely works, and there are tons of plumbing issues that still haven't been taken care of after we voiced our concerns over and over again. Slumlords. They are unprofessional and they do not take care of there units until HUD and the health department has been contacted. Turnover rate for employees are high and in better regional manager and maintenance... they know nothing and lie about what each other don’t do. They have complaints from the health department and the better business bureau. They have nice looking properties but so patchwork to get there tenants to stay. Please do your research before trying out Athena
This is the WORST reality company by far. Takes months to respond to issues to THEIR property or just never respond at all. Who does that? This company is nothing but money hungry and needs to be shut down. No respect or care for any tenants living in THEIR property. Athena Realty and Management needs to man up and take care of their property and tenants more better.
Just so everyone knows - when one of their units are broken into (twice, with in 3 weeks) Jenn Lutton, Regional Manager, informed a tenant that it is not Athena's place to notify other residents. So in other words, she could not care less about anyone's safety. In what world is that ok? Jenn - you should be ashamed of yourself. Screen shot of your pathetic response to a break in is available if you would like me to post it.
cares very little about the safety and wellbeing of tenants. has carelessly overlooked and brushed off multiple break ins, with no effort to alert other residents or increase/maintain a sense of safety for residents.
Great company, fast on response, good to deal with as well!
