The staff can be friendly and caring to an extent but it feels so incredibly rigid. Everyone is. Don’t go here if you’re young or chronically ill or disabled. I was practically brushed off, withheld of my medication that I needed to keep my body functioning, and barely looked at. They ran usual tests but other than that? Basically shrugged their shoulders and didn’t look any further. No referral or anything when I was struggling. I switched providers and haven’t been happier since.
I have been several times for neuropathy of the feet. Had all kinds of serious bloodwork and ct scan and ultrasound. He promised someone from his staff would call me with the results. Been two weeks on pins and needles. Got results from portal and wanted referral to see a physical therapist. She told me the portal was not run by them, but an outside source. As a healthcare nurse, professional 44 years, I definitely leave Dr. Baker a five star. Very caring not in a rush and if you need a referral he doesn’t hesitate to send you out to a specialist.
Been a patient of Dr. Baker for 10 months. First off, Dr Baker is both knowledgeable and experienced in his field. Sadly, he is also tired and jaded when it comes to dealing with patients. He has little patience or interest in your medical concerns. Moreover, if your concerns are not clearly written in advance on HIS notes, he will not address them. He prefers to order blood work or exams for you and then reschedule you every 3 months so he can lecture you about the results.... or simply patronize you with why you shouldn't ... read more
She went above and beyond in treating my husband. She saved his life by having him get blood work which showed he has APL leukemia and immediately helped to get him to an oncologist who then treated him. She also made it a point for him to be able reach her any time day or night.
I have been a patient of Dr. Baker at his Cape Coral Elite Health office for two years and he is great. I have never waited more than 5 minutes to see the doctor. The staff was always friendly and nice. I ask questions and he doesn't act disgusted like my previous doctor did. Doctor Baker explains everything very well, and I have recommended several people to see him.
I've been going to Dr Dupont for over 20 years. She is smart, kind and always concerned. She gets a little busy sometimes but that's because she takes time with her patients. 5 STARS*****
Dr Baez does not make eye contact. He forgets to do what he tells you he’s going to do during an office visit. Also he puts things in visit notes that are never discussed. When communicating in the patient portal he actually asked me not to reply to him. He has been verbally combative with my husband and I on separate occasions during office visits when discussing our medical conditions and treatments. Not professional. Not LGBTQ friendly at all. My wife, MIL and I see Dr. Baker. My wife is an ICU Critical Care Nurse and I am a healthcare practice manager. We consider ourselves knowledgeable about the role of primary care. We would both attest to attentive, comprehensive and compassionate care. We've been with Dr. Baker 9 years, are in our sixties and trust his guidance. He's always thorough and engaged. Great Doc.
