Great Hair, No control of Outcome – Giovanna diffidently has some great skill. She knows what she's doing. I just wish that she had been a little more considerate about personal preference. I returned after several successful appointments and was in the process of growing out my short hair. I like soft and volume type hair cuts, Giovanna from past cuts knew this. Great looking color! – I've been in Iowa for 4 years now and it has taken me all of this time to find Meredith. I am a natural medium to dark brunette and am lightly graying. I have allowed many highlights and lowlights to be worked into my hair. Nothing ever looked natural and I have been dealing constantly with the damage. Wonderful Introduction to Des Moines' Lovely People – Last minute, great service! I was in Des Moines for the Gold Star Horse Show and needed my hair done. I called at 10 minutes to 8 p.m. expecting to set an appt for later in the week. Giovanna & Meredith were booked so they conversed and decided to have me come right down. I don't like gushing reviews – And I don't like salons in general. Stylists rarely listen, and on top of that, they tend to force invasive conversations about my personal life. My only experience with Atelier is with Meredith, a colorist. She not only listened but took quite a bit of time clarifying my desires to make sure she understood. I was skeptical of the lowlights she suggested with my highlights, but the result was beautiful. I've only had one visit with her, but she earned my trust. Beyond 5 Stars!! – After going to the same stylist for 7 yrs. I decided to try Giovanna and Meredith at Alelier / hairspace. So glad I did! I came out with the most spectacular color and cut I have ever had. The exceptional staff treated me as if I had been a client for years. I feel confident in returning to Atelier for years to come.

was a disappointment – I had high hopes. The first haircut was great. I called to make another appointment and the lady I had before wasn't there anymore. I made the appointment with Giovanna. I was on time and the receptionist told me Giovanna would be with me shortly. I waited a 1/2 hour and she finally showed up with no apology as to why she was late. Just a thank you for waiting. So glad I Discovered Atelier! – I have been looking for the right hair salon since I moved here a year ago. I am so thankful that a friend recommended Atelier. Meredith and Giovanna are SO talented, professional and friendly. I absolutely love my new cut and color!
