I had an appointment with associated pain specialist in Grey, TN. I have had chronic pain for years. I have been to many different doctors. The place is ok;except for two things ..one not picking up the phone during reasonable hours and two the front desk people have attitudes even if you are polite and compliant;I understand people cannot be happy nor polite 24/7 but there is a line to not being arrogant.other than doctor wise it's good so far.
I was hesitant about pain clinics bc of the horrors I’ve heard and read. I had my initial appt with Grace. She was easy to talk to and listened to me and my concerns. She allowed me to choose what options are best for me and my care. She changed my muscle relaxer bc she said I’ve been on it too long and the body needs a change. I’ve had less muscle tension since that change. They took X-rays the same day. They have radiology on site so it was a quick and easy process. Like others I wish I could write it negative 10. First and only appointment this morning. They drug tested me I filled out a paper but five pages long about pill counts and pee tests and such and what pharmacy do you want your medicine sent to only to get to see the nurse practitioner Grimm! I told him I had spinal fusion 14 years ago in my neck and I was out of gabapentin and had to switch doctors and my doctor finally got me in with him.
