These folks have been a godsend to me. I’m the administrator of a medical practice in Knoxville and have operated several medical practices over a decade. So, I know quality people when I see them. Those of us who suffer from horrific chronic pain resulting from traumatic injuries are often stigmatized in the specialty arena of pain management. That is not the case at this place. Have been trying to schedule a medical procedure since May. Never received call backs, hardly ever reach a real person on the phone, clinical manager voicemail box is full, "promised" numerous times a call back to schedule and have never received it. Overall terrible experience. Going to have the VA send me somewhere else.
This was my second time coming to this facility. All I have to say is I will never go back. As soon as I got there, the lady at the front desk was very rude. Had an attitude kept mean mugging me after I asked her what her problem is and why she is acting the way she is. Then I get back to the room and the nurse practitioner comes in with an attitude and tells me that we’re not off to a good start. Doctor is wonderful, but nurses are the ones that take care of your pills and I have been on pain mgt since 2008 and I am 73 to soon be 74 . They made up things about me, because I came to Tn from SC and I was already on the meds that I was taking. They accused me of taking Valium which I have taken. Anxiety pills were from my husbands death of 50 years and I had the prescription. My primary here changed my gabapentin prescription to one pill instead of 2 to 1 so I had enough pills for the entire year and they accused me aga... read more
Everyone is nice here but sometimes they get backed up and you have to wait awhile. Usually they aren't backed up though.
