RecommendedMy 5 year old daughter was in the ER for a concussion yesterday and the staff was outstanding! They made her feel calm and comfortable, they spoke to her in a manner that set her at ease so she wasn’t scared of the tests. They took the time to listen to her stories about school and math and her half birthday! They were incredibly thorough and all around amazing! Thank you!
I just had the best experience there with surgery on my arm that I broke a few weeks ago. Lisa my nurse in surgery was an angel and Dr. Lukes who put in the plate and 7 screws did wonderful. All the other nurses and anesthesiologist who worked on me were wonderful, but I don't remember their names. It looks and feels great. I had to go there 4 times this year, twice to ER, once for a check up, and once for surgery and all 4 times have been great.

Yesterday we were sitting in the front lobby of Aspirus Hospital in Wausau waiting for family members. We saw an Aspirus employee (female) interviewing a young man. First, it is a silly place for an interview. Second, this woman reached out and held the man by his arm. Seriously? You do not touch others in that manner these days. What gives you license to do so? The case management department is a complete mess. The communication is terrible and not a single individual really knows what is going on with getting my mother placed into a long term facility. Just this week, I have already spoken to 3 different case managers regarding my mothers care; and it is only Thursday as of writing this. And, I have not experienced a single case manger communicating to the next case manager, who is taking over. my mom was there for 4 days they treated her very good, all the nurses were so nice and caring!
Still takes six months to get an appointment with a neurologist or Reumatoligst , cardiac , or any other specialist.
