Carolina Cove is the best!! Best staff and best pool parties!!
Before I start, I want to say that I promise I am not being dramatic with the "one star" rating of this review. It is with a heavy heart that I write this, but it's been a long time coming. I have lived here for (going on) three years now, and in that time it has gotten progressively worse and worse. I wouldn't live anywhere but the cove. The staff is super helpful and they are all very nice. Its a great place to meet new people and make friends. The pool is amazing and very relaxing. The basketball court is always busy so its a great way to get exercise and play ball. The gym offers everything you could want for a work out. The computer lab and conference are so nice when you have studying to do. I would recommend the cove to everyone. I DO NOT see my self moving anytime soon.
I wish I could give this place 0 stars. it was the worst 14 months I've spent in Wilmington. the tenants are young, dumb & loud, the pool is ALWAYS closed, "management" are kids with awful attitudes, the "security gates" are CONSTANTLY broken, there is NEVER parking, and they will tow your car regardless. I feel bad for anyone who has to live here.
Residents who live in this community are extremely loud all the time and the office never does anything about it. The gates that are supposed to be functional are either broken or left open for days to weeks at a time. The front desk is mostly ran by kids and some of the maintenance men can be extremely rude. Also, the pool area is always closed during the summer. Unless your a freshman in college/just turned 18 years old, I do not recommend living here.
Carolina Cove would be so much nicer if people didn't trash the place and if the wifi would actually work..
