Dr Patel is a very skilled & caring orthopedic surgeon at Kennedy-White Orthopedic Center in Sarasota, Fl. He took his time with me & made sure he had all the information on my condition prior to doing my surgery. He also made sure that all the follow-up appointments & procedures (nursing & P.T.) were being done correctly. I am an older woman with some osteopenia & my surgery went very well. I have already recommended Dr Patel to 3 other people.
Dr Patel performed a laminectomy with bone spur removal only after evaluating all the scans, my symptoms , my lifestyle and level of activities I wanted to accomplish in a years time. I’m pleased with my recovery one week post op. I’m looking forward to not having symptoms once I’m totally healed.
I’m a patient who presented with several complications. Dr Patel was patient, listened to my concerns, was very thorough, and clear in his communication with me, despite the time I needed. I’m eager to follow-up on his suggestions/referrals with hope of a better quality of life.

From the time I was diagnosed through my surgery, post op, and recovery Dr Patel has been an excellent doctor both skill wise and with his thorough follow up. I have heard horrow stories about back surgery. The surgery took 4 1/2 hours and Dr Patel's surgical staff kept my spouse informed throughout. I have had the best possible care throughout my entire recovery period. He has gone above and beyond to guide me to professionals who will help me maintain and strengthen my spine.
From start, diagnosis, surgery and follow-up couldn't get any better! The entire staff, nurses, techs, clerks, etc. couldn't ask for friendlier or more competent services. EXCELLENT!!!
Had neck surgery c3-c7 fused. He did a remarkable job straightening my neck back up. I am so happy he was my surgeon.
