I am a 78 year old woman and had severe sciatic pain down my right hip and leg to the point I had difficulty walking. Due to Dr. Patel I am pain free after 3 weeks post-op of having a bi-lateral laminectomy and discsectomy. Once getting an appointment I had surgery the following week. Dr. Patel, Scott and Sara are a very knowledgeable, caring team and the pre-op and post -op care were exceptional. I am thankful his office and wonderful staff are located in Sarasota.
Had a laminectomy 6 weeks ago, and am now absolutely pain free. Dr. Patel did his magic on lumbar 2-5. I start physical therapy next week and look forward to getting back to golf, tennis and pickleball soon thereafter. I haven’t been able to stand up this straight in years. Thank you Dr. Patel!!
I was referred to Dr. Patel by Dr. Jobe at Restore in Venice for a herniated disc. What he & his assistant Scott did for me was outstanding. With Betty’s strong assistance, also I was set up for surgery in just a few days. They worked so hard for me & I will never forget it. Dr. Ashvin Patel is a very skilled Orthopedic Surgeon! He is accomplished in areas of the Vertebrae - Cervical and Vertebrae. Highly recommended for issues with the neck and back areas!
Dr Patel did neck surgery on October 4th and my neck is so much better. He is very kind and the office is well run. I was very impressed that he sees post ops early so they don't have to wait so long. Definitely recommend him. Worth the wait
Doctor Patel Surgery skills are exceptional, but pre-planning, checking, and rechecking of MRI, X-rays, C-Scan, and other tests and the time he spends with you is something you don't experience at other places. His interfacing with patient is excellent. His support staff of Scott, Adam, and Betty mimics Doctor Patel’s caring mode. Lots of juggling to get procedures done in a timely matter for me. I am so grateful to Doctor Patel and his team. I highly recommend him to anyone with spinal issues.
