I liked dr. Patel and his assistant, however the wait time was extreme (2 hrs). While this was my first visit, from what I experienced today I would recommend him, just be prepared for a possible lengthy wait time.
I went to see Dr Patel for lower back pain. He guided me thoroughly thru the decision process for surgery, eliminated other causes with exams(xray ,etc,,,). When a week before surgery, my ekg came up abnormal, he had me in front of a cardiac specialist the next day for further testing. After surgery, Dr Patel was the first one to stop by my room, before 7am. His staff is also exceptionally efficient. Now 6 weeks after surgery, my leg weakness has disappeared.
We were supposed to see Dr Patel but he got very backed up so we saw Scott, Dr Patel’s PA. He is very knowledgeable, kind and honest man and we appreciate that very much.
My husband and I were very pleased & impressed with the efficiency of the staff and professionals.

Dr. Patel is a wonderful doctor! I am 3 1/2 weeks post op from a lumbar spine fusion. For the first time in 2 years I am pain free!! He takes his time, listens to your concerns and makes sure you understand the recommended procedure. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Patel.
Dr Patel did L for an L5 laminectomy to help relieve pain in my lower back and sciatica. He is an excellent doctor and very trustworthy. He always takes time with each patient and answers questions. His PA Scott is also very thorough in his clinical discussions and abilities. I highly recommend Dr.Patel for spinal issues.

Dr. Patel is amazing. I am so sorry it is not my back that is the problem. It is my hip and he doesn’t do that. He is the best and smarter than most. He is also a Notre Dame fan. He is the best.
