my experience with Dr Patel is that he called the Sunday before the surgery to make sure any questions I might have were answered. He also sent me for a second opinion which his staff quickly secured for me in order to not delay my surgery. I would highly recommend Dr Patel and he lived up to his reputation in the community. I have been a patient of Dr. Patel for 5 years. I had severe sciatica pain in my hip and leg as a result of a very bad boating accident in 2005. Dr. Patel took a very conservative approach to my problem by recommending PT and back injections. This worked for five years, but the problem worsened with time. Dr Patel saved me from a life of pain. He performed spinal fusion surgery on me one year ago, and I have been pain free ever since.
I had lower lumbar spine surgery on 3/16/20. My outcome has been excellent and I am less than 8 weeks from surgery. Dr. Patel is a positive personality, knowledgable, experienced and talented.

Dr Patel Gives a fair and realistic acessment of what can be accomplished . I am coming up on my one year anniversary of a very extensive back surgery and small erector set for spinal stablelization . Preformed by Dr. Patel .....and it all worked and have really a new lease on life ! While he did say i would never be a 100 percent ..Iam 85 to 90 percent. I may never snow ski again ! Or lift over25 pounds again but i can walk sit and sleep pain free .... After 30 years of pain Thank you.
Our son fractured his back during his college baseball season. After being run through the gamut of out-of-area HMO physicians, we were finally referred to the correct specialist by his PCP. Dr. Patel ordered the proper tests, diagnosed, and treated his condition. He personally called my son to speak with him and followed up, saving anymore unnecessary trips to the office. It's rare that you find a doctor that will take his time and do this himself. We highly recommend Dr. Patel at KWOC.
I 100% trusted this surgeon before microdiskectomy because of his reputation, care of me on office visits and his thoroughness. His staff is incredibly knowledgeable and nice. His wait times are minimal. Post procedure and I still trust him 100%.
