my ankle was crushed in an accident about 6 years ago when I was 69. he did such a wonderful job repairing the damage that I hardly ever think about it. It's like it never happened. I still have the pins and plates in place. I didn't even have to go to physical therapy after because my range of motion--after the cast was removed--was normal.
He is very kind and patient and listens to your concerns and takes the time to explain all diagnoses and the plan for your recovery and getting you to everyday life and comfort
Excellent, he did a total ankle replacement for me in October of last year had follow up on 7/09/2020. Very competent and answered questions thoroughly. Ankle is doing very well, no issues, after many years of pain. Have already recommended him to others and will going forward. This was my fourth joint replacement and I know good when I see it!
Dr. Lahiji was very professional and explained everything well. He was patient in answering all my questions and didn’t seem rushed. Good bedside manner, was straightforward with treatment plan options, and did not push for surgery over conservative treatment. One day later and my pain is already so much better!
Broken crushed toes.. From Piedmont Urgent care, after an additional set of X-rays and Dr. Lahiji taking extra time to explain and look through with me having no rush to complete the exam, moreover, he asked several additional questions to assist me, it was concluded Urgent care was wrong. He also looked out for my financial interest in recommending solutions and follow up. "Who does this anymore?" - not very many.. if Any. 5 Stars for Sure!
Dr Lahiji was strongly recommended by the Physical Therapist that helped me through two hip replacements and a knee replacement. She had taken care of his patients and reported very positive outcomes. Being a bit of a veteran of joint replacement, I was impressed with his explanation of my options and the considerations involved in deciding which course of action was best. As a result I have decided to go with an ankle replacement and am in the process of scheduling surgery.
Definitely not a doctor I would recommend. Very dismissive if you do not have a positive result from his surgery. Impressive c.v. but his skills are not. Wish I hadn't seen him or let him operate.
Dr. Ashkan Lahiji operated on my right foot 10 1/2 weeks ago. He was very patient and professional, explaining all details pre-op and post-op. I was given printed copies of my x-rays both pre-op & post-op. He explained that the recovery would take a while, and so far everything has progressed beautifully ! His assistant, Tonia, has been very helpful ! The office staff is very patient & efficient. Thank you to Dr. Lahiji for his expertise & skills ! KO
Saw Dr Lahiji with my daughter who had a foot fracture requiring surgery. He is well trained and has an excellent bedside manner. It is too soon post op for long term but I expect everything to heal perfectly. His staff very helpful also!
