Growing up with Deep Dish Pizza, Chicago native (& diehard Cub fan) Jerry Gr. Bishop couldn't find a good one in San Diego so he opened his own pizza shop, Asaggio at Seaport Village, where he began making his own. Over 30 years later, its still the BEST CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA WEST OF WRIGLEY FIELD!!! Way too expensive for pizza that tasted like it came straight out of a cafeteria or mall food court.
