Growing up with Deep Dish Pizza, Chicago native (& diehard Cub fan) Jerry Gr. Bishop couldn't find a good one in San Diego so he opened his own pizza shop, Asaggio at Seaport Village, where he began making his own. Over 30 years later, its still the BEST CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA WEST OF WRIGLEY FIELD!!! Sadly, after many many years at San Diego‘s Seaport Village Pier the BEST PIZZA � AND PASTA � has folded up shop. “BEST PIZZA WEST OF CHICAGO (WRIGLEY FIELD ) “ the deep dish pizza is NOT TO BE MISSED. Sadly, again location closed this summer. �� We are very sad.
