Growing up with Deep Dish Pizza, Chicago native (& diehard Cub fan) Jerry Gr. Bishop couldn't find a good one in San Diego so he opened his own pizza shop, Asaggio at Seaport Village, where he began making his own. I'm weird when it comes to pizza and get really picky! I love the pizza here and the atmosphere to the whole place. I've only ran into a couple of places where the pizza is like this and I drive to NorCal for the other place. I already drive from Adelanto to San Diego just to have pizza here. I have to say it rates on my top 5 pizza places to eat and I've had pizza in Italy, NY & Chicago!!!!
