Excellent.
This office has it’s positives and negatives. Mariam does care about her patients and has taken a little extra time with me when I was going through an episode. She even includes my wife in the appointment as well. The office is improving a bit, but has had it’s own downfalls. For one they seem understaffed…big time. Because of this the Denton office almost never contacts us after we leave messages. How this man treats his patients is appalling .
I had an amazing experience with Dr Islam. He was very thorough and asked many questions, which was a different experience from my prior doctor. I didn't feel rushed at all. After talking with me individually, he offered to have my wife and father come so that he could hear their concerns too. Thank you!
He had me on so many mood stabilizers. That it caused my heart to go into a fib. He started me on the highest dosage of Cymbalta! I’ve got a new psychiatrist that was shocked that he had started me at such a high dosage! I’m doing so much better After I stop seeing him! Other people you you really need to talk to other patients ex employees. He is so busy when I first started going he only had an office in Lewisville! Then opened a Second location in Denton! I would not recommend this office or doctor to anyone. We loved seeing the nurse practitioners but not Dr Asad Islam who owns the practice in Lewisville and Denton. Sadly the nurse practitioners whom we were seeing for the past four years have moved on to greener pastures. Dr Islam failed to refill our son's RX for sleeping meds during his appointment and then never did so following multiple calls and messages to his office. Our son has not slept. We are going on 5 days without the RX as of
