After living here for five years I can tell you I have heard and seen it all on this property. Whether they call themselves Artisan of Ames managed by Haverkamp Properties, South Meadows or whatever, they have done everything to confuse, con, and lie by omissions to any unsuspecting potential renter just to rent an apartment, get and keep deposits, charge you w/ hidden utilities fees and pet fees you didn't see coming, all after you've already moved in of course.
