Samantha is an Expert (and very cool) I never post reviews to the web. I am making an exception now, simply because Samantha at Art + Science is truly an expert. She is a problem solver and works with you to find the cut and color that you want. Plus, she is just a cool individual who puts you at ease. Ali is a FABULOUS colorist! I have very difficult gray/white hair that doesn't take to color easily. I explained this to Ali at my first visit, and she worked hard to get it perfect-right out of the gate! She did a fantastic job. I've been really happy with her and all the staff at the salon. Enjoy!
...Stay away from "anonymous"reviewers... Ali recently happened to be voted "Best Colorist" in mainline magazine. She studied her craft at Ted Gibson in New York. That girl can create the most amazing blondes I have seen here in Philly. Not only is she great at color, she can style and blow dry hair better than a Pantene commercial. ...She rules!

STAY AWAY FROM ALI Don't be fooled by her sweet disposition. She is insecure and jealous. If you have pretty hair, she will go out of her way to mess it up. Also, sitting and listening to her talk is annoying!
Ali and Rene' are in Old City! Thank goodness I found them! I called the salon, and the girl at the desk told me where they went after I refused to go to someone else. It was nice of her to tell me. I love the new place! Great job ladies!
Best Salon in Manayunk I've been going to Art Plus Science for about a year now Terry is the best!!! I love this place and would recommend it to everyone
Great place! This is a great salon/spa! They sell all sorts of Aveda products (makeup, hair care, skin care, etc) and they use Aveda products in all of their services. They have amazing massages and give the best eye brow waxes. (I highly recommend Erika!) For the most part, their prices are fair ($15 for an eyebrow wax) but services can be a bit pricey but they are worth every penny!
