I've read the comments and I don't think they do this place justice... it is a resort on the banks of the beautiful Missouri River... not a Ritz Carlton in New York City. The staff has gone out of their way to be nice and accommodating. The food is great and plenty of it. The rooms have been redone ( I understand they are under new management) and the entire complex is neat and clean. GIve it a chance. When we arrived I was a bit disappointed with the tired look of this 'resort'. Our room was dark & out of date, with cheap, hard pillows and icky bed coverings. The bathroom floor had water all over it around the tub area as if someone had just stepped out from taking a shower and there was a towel still hanging behind the door on a hook. The bathroom sink drained so slow it made it impossible to wash your hands & face or brush your teeth with more than a drizzle.The food in the restaurant was awful, tasteless and overpriced... read more
Loved the room and can't beat the sunrise and river views! Friendly staff. Stop in!
Stayed here twice in a week while traveling. We called ahead of time to say we'd be arriving very late. The young lady on the phone lacked proper phone etiquette. On our 1st visit while we were eating breakfast we got a call asking if we had left the 'Do not Disturb' sign on the door by mistake. Calling in the middle of our meal rubbed me the wrong way. Awesome food!!! Excellent staff, food came Quick to the table...I highly recommend this place!! Price is very accommodating. ..it is my new spot to eat on occasions..I am new to the area.
