Not the worst but real close!! – 11-16-2007 - Another family celebration ruined by good reviews written for truly bad restaurants. We never learn our lesson. Truly our fault. Here is the truth: tiny dining area, table seating 7 inches from the potty. I am certain how they derived the name of the restaurant. Someone sat where I sat (7 inches from the potty) and the AROMA inspired them. Overpriced, well written menu unfortunately the food was average or below, the service was rushed and the dining area was loud, crammed, uncom... read more

Go for appies and wine. Be wary of the dine and wine. – Wow, I don't want to be a sourpuss but our dining experience was not a good one. First time for me. Eight of us went to celebrate my dad's 80th and sat at one of the few tables (not nibbles and wine at the bar) on a Sunday evening. Our table was the worst location (the other two large tables -- just inside the front door ... brrrr... and shoehorned next to the noisy and busy bar -- had apparent disadvantages): a foot next to the constantly occupied, noisy (other negativ... read more

I HEART Aroma! – Perfection! A staple on my list of go-to restaurants. Alexandra and Vito are like your friendly neighbors that you always enjoy seeing. Include that, the perfect recommend of food and wine and there you have it. Thanks Alexandra and Vito for all of the good times/great food/fun evenings! Sincerely, amanda

Great Service and Wine Selection – Simply put, the food and wine are fantastic and the servers are a delight. Wine pairing at it's best, with a price tag that is palatable to boot!

Relaxing quality italian everything – Hi guys. I'm a regular at Aroma. I'm there about once a week. Customers are warmly greeted, sometimes personally by co-owners Alexandra or Vito. Their frequent presence, up front or in the kitchen, is a great credit to the personal attention they give to customers. The wine list is accessible, extensive, and unabashedly Italian. Honestly, it's the food that keeps me coming back. Aroma's kitchen has a habit of making its own pasta, and using locally grown, top quality meats and produce wh... read more

amazing food, everyone at table loved it! – I went to dinner at Aroma two weeks ago with 3 friends. We all love the place and will def be back. I have friends coming into town in May and I think they will love it. The food is yummy and interesting, the vibe was low key on a Thursday night but still busy.

My favorite neighborhood Italian – I'm a regular at Aroma and was surprised to see some of the recent comments. I'm sure the food, wine and service are not for everyone but "flavorless" and "neurotic" are not descriptors I would ever have used. The food is fresh, the ingredients high quality, and the menu diverse and seasonal. The wines are well priced and there's always something new to discover. The service is personal and professional. Before long you feel like you're visiting friends. There's a handful of tables so it fi... read more

Continued Neurosis – My buddy and I recently knocked off work and on a recommendation went to check this place out.....the previous comment about neurotic service with regards to other user reviews ahead of this one is the only thing on the mark about this "restaurant".The food is not too good unless you like chuck wagons... a real let down overall

the best of neurotic service and flavorless food – The moment we got there, we immediately seated. Nice? Not so much. The waiter and owner then proceeded to tell us about what a busy a night they had ahead of them and we were rushed to order. Yes, rushed. Apparently when you make an 8 PM Friday reservation here, the intention is to make the guests feel as if they are really a burden because there are better guests coming later. And when you pair warmth like that with food that has had all the flavor removed before it's serve... read more
